Think your taste buds can handle the heat? Join us at WBC Park for our Chili Cook Off, where some of the area’s best chefs, home cooks, and “chili masters” will battle it out for bragging rights—and your vote!
Step inside the DockHaus (Baird Wealth Management Club) and escape the November chill while sampling a wide variety of homemade chili recipes, each packed with flavor, spice, and personality. You’ll be the judge—taste them all and cast your vote.

It’s time for all cooks, chefs, and self-proclaimed Chili Masters to step up, stir the pot, and claim the crown in the DockHounds Homemade Chili Challenge!
Bring your best recipe and see if your chili can outshine them all — including the DockHounds’ very own chef. Just one question: Can you take home bragging rights AND the “I Beat the Chef” title?

How It Works:
- One entry per registration – make it your masterpiece!
- Arrive 1 hour before the event for setup.
- Chili must be kept warm in a crockpot or similar device.
- Only HOMEMADE chili allowed – no store-bought or pre-packaged mixes.
- Be ready to serve at least 200 samples (final estimated attendance will be provided 4 days in advance).
- Prepare your dish in a clean, sanitary environment.
- Bring a full ingredient list for allergy awareness.
Judging Criteria:
- Flavor – 30%
- Texture & Consistency – 20%
- Creativity – 20%
- Presentation – 15%
- Crowd Favorite Votes – 15%
Prizes:
- Best Chili – 1st & 2nd place winners
